Description
Multiple full time paid positions available:

  • Moorabbin office - 1 x position
  • Sunshine office - 1 x position
Salary range: $58,000 + super

With a proud history of assisting people with mental health issues on their recovery journey, JobCo continues to growits NDIS program across Melbourne. We are currently expanding and looking for a registered Provisional Psychologist to join our Sunshine team.

Your role will focus on delivering Therapy and Assessment services (Psychology) to JobCo. NDIS participants. When not engaged in delivering Therapy and Assessment, your role will be flexible, including specialist support coordination, support coordination, delivering 1-1 core and capacity building supports, running group activities and/or assisting people with disabilities to navigate the NDIS maze.

Your positive attitude, collaborative can-do approach, recovery focus, problem solving skills and ability to contribute to a team of professionals in a KPI-driven dynamic environment will ensure you are successful.

Once you have completed your six month probation, and based on your performance,the business will consider providing supervision or contributing to your supervision costs.

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Current registration with Psychology Board of Australia / Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Provisional Psychologist Registration
  2. Understanding of mental illness an understanding of the impact that a significant mental illness can have on a person's life, their families and carers, particularly people with complex needs and high levels of disadvantage
  3. Capacity to work in a competitive funding environment and maintain a client caseload
  4. Demonstrated experience in and ability to provide disability supports - ability to coordinate services working within a case management or care coordination framework ideally within the mental health field
  5. Strong preference for excellent quality service provision
  6. Demonstrated ability to build and develop networks, service partnerships and clilaborations.
  7. Participant recovery focus demonstrated understanding of and a belief in participant focused, strength based, trauma informed and recovery orientated models of service
  8. Ability to be flexible, to work autonomously and contribute to a professional team environment
  9. Self-management and self-awareness, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

About the Role

The NDIS Occupational Therapist and Mentor is responsible for delivering professional, billable services to NDIS participants, focusing on Occupational Therapy Services and Assessments. Duties are highly flexible and varied as they are based on the needs of the participant. In addition to Occupational Therapy Services duties may include support coordination, formal case management tasks, and social group facilitation or support.

About You

We are looking for a qualified and registered Occupational Therapist. Whether you are experienced or recently graduated, we would like to hear from you to see if you are a match for our team.

Your role will focus on delivering Occupational Therapy services to JobCo. NDIS participants. When not engaged in delivering Occupational Therapy services your role will be flexible, including support coordination, 1-1 core and capacity building supports, delivering group activities and/or assisting people with psychosocial disabilities to navigate the NDIS maze. Customer service and high quality service provision must be key drivers for you. If you have training and experience in case management or case work in the fields of mental health, disability or social work this will be considered an asset.
